R-Z

Alex Raizman

Alex Raizman has been a fantasy, science fiction, and horror fan since elementary school. Alex calls Stein, Tolkien, and Bradbury "gateway drugs". A voracious reader, the plan was always to always to write a book "someday".

Being diagnosed with cancer in 2015 and recovering stopped the thoughts about "someday" and started "now".

Three years later, Alex is cancer free and thrilled to have published multiple books in LitRPG, Urban Fantasy, and Epic Fantasy.

Alex lives in St. Louis, Missouri, with Loki, Ishtar, and Balder, the best cats ever.

Angel Ramon

Angelus Maximus! Who is this mysterious man?

He is just a dude who wishes he lived in Ancient Rome. Angelus is crazy about everything Roman to the point where he named himself based on a Pleb who might have lived during Roman times.

Since he couldn't afford a time machine, he decided to write a series in the LitRPG genre. He is a huge Caesar 3 fan along with the Age of Empires game series and wanted to combine the two into a novel.

His first complete series, The Great Centurion has been read by many. It has city building, land battles, a Roman who becomes an honorable general, naval battles, and even a bit of fun with women in togas.

Did he mention that he loves his chainmail, now he needs a sword and shield to complete his dream of being a Roman soldier? He'll also need a time machine but he'll have hope for a miracle on that one.

The honest truth is that Angelus Maximus is simply a 30-something-year-old man who is living out his childhood fantasy. He absolutely loves ancient history and talking about it.

When he’s not working on his books, he loves heading to the beach, the rainforest, and eating bacon. Besides, who doesn’t like bacon?

Rose “TJ” Reynolds

Rose Reynolds writes Progression Fantasy and LitRPG. Her primary pen name is TJ Reynolds with First Fist: Seventh Bridge to the Heavens as her most popular series (book 2 coming out Spring 23!). An old school gamer, she now spends her days admiring the mad skills of her three Gen Alpha kids as they rock everything from Pokémon Go to Animal Crossing.

Kevin Sinclair

I’m a full-time, British Indie Author publishing fantasy, sci-fi and post-apocalyptic novels within the LitRPG/GameLIT genre.

Born and bred in the North East of England I live with my wife, our four children. It’s a stone’s throw from the rugged coastline of the North Sea and a place full of history, from Pagan stone circles to Roman forts that feed the imagination. We have three dogs all outrageously different in size, from an old giant Newfy to a miniature Yorkie and some sort of mysterious hybrid in between.

My debut series Condition Evolution spans six novels with three more on the way. It crosses genres from LitRPG fantasy to real world GameLIT Space Opera, like a penguin goes from land to water.

My second is a gritty, post-apocalyptic series, The Cesmial Accords, bringing time-travel, superhuman powers and waves of vicious monsters to Earth in a battle for survival.

Last year saw the beginning of God of the Feast, a portal fantasy series that’s bigger, grittier and occasionally funnier than anything I’ve written before.

Shami Stovall

Shami Stovall is a multi-award-winning author of fantasy and science fiction. Before that, she taught history and criminal law at the college level, and loved every second. When she’s not reading fascinating articles and books about ancient China or the Byzantine Empire, Stovall can be found playing way too many video games, especially RPGs and tactics simulators. She loves John, reading, and writing about herself in the third person.

Jakob Tanner

Jakob Tanner is the LitRPG author of three best selling series, Arcane Kingdom Online and Tower Climber, and his new series, Second Chance Swordsman. When not writing, he loves watching anime, reading comics, and playing video games.

C.J. Timms

Chris is the author of the Aussie Mana Apocalypse (books 1-4 and comic), The Aussie Mana Apocalypse Freeman and King Tides Curse.

Chris is a GP in Australia and passionate about burnout prevention. He finds writing a powerful tool to de-stress and be able to serve patients better.

Eric Ugland

Eric Ugland is the bestselling author of the Good Guys and Bad Guys series. He writes LitRPG from the depths of Maine's forests, fighting back bears and moose while slinging ink over the paper. Born in England, but raised in various other places, he's got a unique voice and several expired passports as well as a deep wealth of tropical diseases. He like gin and tonics, cold ice, and long walks on short beaches.

J.P. Valentine

J.P. 'Nixia' Valentine (The Nothing Mage, This Quest is Bullshit!, Dungeon Devotee) still has not decided which genre he writes, but people sure seem to like the litrpg more than the poetry. His hobbies include brooding, annoying his family with bad jokes, and smacking Void Herald with a stick to keep Vainqueur from overtaking him on the royalroad rankings.
